This month’s highly anticipated beer, Lawn Jawn from Four Seasons Total Landscaping, is now available! Never heard of Four Seasons Total Landscaping? Well kids, take a seat and let me tell you a little story.
You’ve heard of the Four Seasons, right?
Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia
The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is an upscale prestigious hotel, perfect for vacation getaways, lavish events and press conferences. Last year in early November, just a few days after one of the most controversial presidential elections ever, ballots were still being counted at Philly’s Pennsylvania Convention Center. Rudy Giuliani, opportunist and Donald Trump’s attorney at the time, decided to book a press conference at the Four Seasons to rile up a crowd of protesters. Little did he know, he booked the wrong Four Seasons. Oooof!
Four Seasons Total Landscaping
Four Seasons Total Landscaping is a small landscaping business located in the Holmesburg section of Northeast Philly. Conveniently located between a sex shop and a crematorium, this stage was certainly not what the Trump campaign had envisioned. As the news crews began to set up their cameras, it became quite clear that this was not the Four Seasons Giuliani meant to book. But hey, the show must go on right? The entire press conference became a national joke and a fitting end to Trump’s presidency.
Carpe Diem, seize the day
The whole press conference was a bad look for Trump and his team, but for Four Season Total Landscaping, it was a huge opportunity. The small landscaping company turned overnight sensation saw to capitalize on its recent fame. It started with funny t-shirts and other merchandise, but why stop there? In collaboration with Philly Drinkers (affiliate apparel company) and Funk Brewing, Four Seasons Total Landscaping has introduced a new beer called Lawn Jawn.
Ok, back to the beer
Lawn Jawn is a juicy IPA with notes of pineapple, passion fruit, guava, melon, and berries. It’s boasts an 6.1% ABV, more than enough to get any party started. The label on the can depicts Giuliani’s press conference along with some of Philly’s top icons. If you look closely, you’ll spot Gritty, Swoop and the Phillie Phanatic! The highly anticipated beer was released on August 18 and is currently available at Pennypack Beer Distributors and Funk Brewing. I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to try both Lawn Jawn and Philly Standard in the upcoming weeks.
